GIMUR Joins the Scientific Committee of X CONSMU

GIMUR has been invited to take part in the Scientific Committee of X CONSMU, marking a new step in its academic presence within spaces devoted to higher music education, pedagogy, research, and music and health.

This invitation represents a significant form of academic recognition. By joining the scientific committee, GIMUR becomes part of the intellectual and evaluative framework that supports the congress, alongside representatives from universities, conservatories, and specialized institutions. The committee listing includes members affiliated with institutions such as the University of Valladolid, Jaume I University, the Conservatorio Superior de Música de A Coruña, the University of Barcelona, and other higher music centers in Spain.

GIMUR’s inclusion in this context reinforces the growing visibility of its work and its commitment to participating actively in networks that connect research, advanced musical training, and educational reflection. It also places the institute within a broader academic conversation shaped by the themes associated with the congress, including music education, pedagogy, didactics, music research, and music and health.

Through this invitation, GIMUR strengthens its institutional profile not only as a participant in academic exchange, but also as a contributor to the structures that help guide and support scholarly dialogue in the field of music. In that sense, its presence on the scientific committee reflects both recognition of its trajectory and an expanding role in international and inter-institutional academic collaboration.
