On June 18, 2021, the Global Institute for Music Research (GIMUR) supported the development of The Young Trumpet Studio through an institutional visit to the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Altea.
As part of this initiative, participating students engaged in an academic exchange with the host conservatory, taking an active role in the educational environment. In addition to their training, the students were given the opportunity to deliver teaching sessions, contributing directly to the pedagogical activity of the institution.
The visit also included a session led by Dr. Jordi Albert, who was involved in the original conception of The Young Trumpet Studio. His lecture, addressed to the conservatory’s faculty, focused on approaches to initial trumpet training, offering methodological insights aligned with current perspectives in music pedagogy and performance development.
This activity reflects GIMUR’s commitment to supporting emerging educational projects, fostering early-stage training, and promoting collaborative environments where students can combine learning, teaching, and artistic practice.
Through actions such as this, GIMUR continues to strengthen its international network, encouraging knowledge exchange between institutions and contributing to the development of innovative approaches in music education and research .
