GIMUR Director Returns to the Conservatoire de Paris for a Third Academic Visit

On January 25, 2023, the director of the Global Institute for Music Research (GIMUR), Dr. Jordi Albert, made his third visit to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP).

During the visit, Dr. Albert delivered a lecture on theories of music learning to a group of professors and students from the conservatory. The session focused on current perspectives in music learning and on the value of connecting pedagogical reflection with artistic practice and research.

This third visit further strengthened the relationship between GIMUR and one of Europe’s leading higher music institutions, while also creating a new opportunity for academic exchange with its teaching and student community. The activity was aligned with GIMUR’s broader mission to advance music research through international collaboration, scholarly exchange, and shared access to knowledge.
