By the end of 2021, L’Art School opened its doors to welcome children as in-person activities finally began. This marked an important new stage for the project, extending the online curriculum that had been developed during the pandemic into a face-to-face educational setting.
The opening of the centre made it possible to continue the work already established through remote learning, but now within a direct, shared, and physically present environment. What had first been designed as an online response to an extraordinary moment could now grow into a more complete educational experience, shaped by everyday interaction, artistic practice, and classroom life.
This transition to in-person activity brought continuity to the project while also giving it new depth. The curriculum developed during the period of online teaching remained at the core of the school’s work, now enriched by the possibilities of presence, collective participation, and the renewed energy of children learning together in the same space.
The opening of the school represented not only the beginning of a new phase, but also the consolidation of an educational vision that had adapted to difficult circumstances and was now able to unfold more fully in person. In this way, the project moved forward with a stronger foundation, linking its online origins to a hopeful and long-awaited return to shared educational experience.
